METRO PLUS – MOBILE APPLICATION FOR CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM
METRO Cash & Carry is an international self-service wholesaler. It operates across Europe and in some countries of Asia and Northern Africa. It is the largest sales division of the German trade and retail giant Metro AG.
In 2016, METRO Cash & Carry reached out to ICB for the development of a mobile app for its loyalty program. For two months, ICB developed the first version of the application and helped METRO switching from analog to digital solution.
The solution helped customers of METRO to check their points and exchange it for goods with discounts.
Today, between 10,000 and 50,000 clients of METRO in Bulgaria use the mobile app to check their loyalty points, see active campaigns, and use their digital client cards.
Every customer can make a list of his/her favorite goods and see which one of them can buy on a discount price.
