Stoian Boev, the Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT), has been elected as Member of the Board of one of the most influential IT associations in Europe – DIGITALEUROPE. The choice has been made during the General Assembly of DIGITALEUROPE, held on 17th and 18th June 2014 in Brussels.  

“This is yet another exceptional recognition for BAIT’s pro-active work during the last three years. Some time ago we were awarded with the prize for the best national campaign within the e-Skills Project, as we were selected out of 23 other countries taking part in the Project”, Velesa Kalacheva, the BAIT’s Executive Director said.

DIGITALEUROPE represents the digital industry in Europe. Its members include 56 out of the largest global IT corporations, telecoms and consumer electronics companies, as well as 35 national associations, BAIT included. The ten thousand companies members of the organization ensure more than 2 million jobs and generate annual turnover of more than 1 trillion euro.
