Description of the role:

Currently we are looking for a Manual QA Specialist to join our team working in maritime industry.

Job responsibilities:

– Develop, execute and review test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual)

– Test every aspect of the target web applications

– Describe and keep track of bugs/defects and help the team prioritize them

– Be responsible to do the initial diagnosis of issues on environments

– Be part of agile team and work closely with developers, architect and Product Owner

– Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project

– Ensure timely and regular communication to all team members

– Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.

-Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

-Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.

-Design or develop/update automated test scripts to ensure currency

What you need to succeed:

– Work experience as a QA or other development position

– Experience with Azure DevOps or other Project lifecycle management system or bug tracker

– Good understanding of software development lifecycle

– A natural interest, enthusiasm and passion for testing

– Ability to learn fast and work in dynamic environment

– Excellent level of written and spoken English
